Suni Antony, MSW, LCSW
Psychotherapist
Suni Antony is a licensed clinical social worker who works with individuals and groups. Suni received her Masters degree in Social Work from Columbia University with a concentration in clinical practice with families and children. She also received her Bachelors degree in Human Development from Binghamton University, NY. Suni works from a relational model using the therapeutic bond as the foundation for therapy. She also believes in taking a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) approach of using validation while also nurturing change and growth. While using diverse approaches to therapy, Suni is able to meet each person where they are by constructing a safe place for processing difficult issues.
Suni is intensively trained in DBT and Sensorimotor psychotherapy. She also incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Gestalt techniques into her therapy approach. Suni also has extensive experience working with children who have been abused and are emotionally disturbed.
In addition to her private practice at Village Counseling Services, Suni is an Associate Director of the Princeton House Women’s Program and works primarily in the Trauma and DBT tracks.
