Adriana Cadavid, MS, LCSW
Psychotherapist

Adriana Cadavid is intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). As a graduate of Columbia University School of Social work, she has worked with individuals and couples in private practice since 2003. Adriana is bicultural and bilingual in English and Spanish. She obtained her post-master’s clinical experience for a five year period at New York Weill Cornell – New York Presbyterian Hospital where she provided family therapy, substance abuse counseling and DBT to person’s diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). Adriana also worked and consulted with hospital employees at Cornell’s Employee Assistance Program. At the American Cancer Society, Adriana worked with cancer survivors and she supervised clinical social work interns at Touro Graduate School of Social Work. In addition to her counseling practice at Village Counseling Services, Adriana continues to work on staff as a Senior Primary Therapist at Princeton Behavioral Health, Women’s Program. At the Women’s Program she conducts individual and group psychotherapy for women diagnosed with trauma who are also experiencing mental health problems and numerous life transition difficulties.

Adriana provides individual therapy for adults and adolescents and weekly Adolescent DBT Skills Training Groups at Village Counseling Services.
