Renée Vecere, MSW, LCSW

Renée Vecere is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Clinical Social Work Masters degree from Temple University in 1998. Renée went on to complete an internship at PEI Kids Inc., where she provided individual and family counseling to victims of sexual abuse using play therapy, art therapy and bibliotherapy techniques. Continuing on to complete a two year internship at Carrier Clinic in Belle Mead, NJ, where she provided individual, family and group psychotherapy in their outpatient clinic, as well as, their partial hospitalization program. Upon completion of her internship, Renée went on to work in Carrier’s general and women’s trauma IOP/PHP programs prior to starting her private practice in 2009.

Experienced in working with individuals, families, and groups, Renée utilizes her training in expressive and solution focused cognitive behavioral therapies to treat mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, dissociative disorders, anger management, feelings identification and expression and women’s issues.

Therapy sessions with Renée are client centered and interactive, reflecting a blending of practical skill building, insight and compassion. During treatment, Renee will evaluate and address your unique strengths and needs, aiming for symptom relief and emotional growth.
