Psychiatric Evaluations and Medication Monitoring
Many conditions respond well to psychotherapy alone, but some show a greatly improved outcome when psychiatric medications are part of the treatment. The decision to include psychiatric medication as part of the treatment is an important and delicate one. If medication is recommended as an adjunct to psychotherapy, our psychiatrists will carefully consider the potential benefits, risks, and side effects of the medication to optimize the effect of your treatment.
The first appointment for a psychiatric evaluation usually takes one hour. Sometimes a second appointment is needed to gather all necessary information and discuss treatment options.
How to Make an Appointment Complete an intake online or call 609-844-0452, extension 713 to schedule an intake. Most insurances are accepted.
If you are already a client of one of the prescribing clinicians and would like to schedule, cancel or reschedule a follow-up appointment leave a message on extension 718 and we will get back to you.
MEDICATION REFILLS Please give your clinician a minimum of 5-business day’s notice to call in your medication refills. Leave refill requests on extension 703. When calling please spell out, very slowly, your first and last name, date of birth, pharmacy name and number, names and dosages of your medications and exactly how you take them. Medication will not be called in if you missed your appointment.
